Golden Technologies is changing the way retailers and consumers charge their scooter batteries to keep mobility at top speed with its innovative battery docking station that will greatly increase the ability to stay on the move.
The battery docking station is a must for any Golden dealer that is renting scooters. It is the solution for always having charged batteries available, which allows for immediate turnaround time on a rental model or replacing dead batteries in the field.
“Active users would welcome this accessory,” said Cy Corgan, vice president of national accounts. “They would always have a charged set of batteries at home, in the office, in a hotel room or kept in a vehicle for when they start running low on a charge and they still have an active day or evening ahead of them.”
Old Forge, PA – Golden Technologies is pleased to announce a partnership with CareCredit, a leading provider of promotional healthcare financing, in order to offer Golden dealers a new financing solution. This collaboration will enable Golden dealers to help consumers acquire the medical equipment and supplies they need while easing the burden when insurance or reimbursements fall short.
“We are excited about this strategic relationship with CareCredit and how it can best help our retailers. Durable medical equipment retailers often face challenges in helping consumers get an ideal product while working under the constraints of increasing deductibles and rising insurance premiums,” said C.J. Copley, Golden’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “CareCredit’s financing solution program will help consumers cover the costs for retail-cash purchases at a time in their life when they need it most.”
Consumers will have the option to benefit from a dedicated line of credit to pay for costs not covered by insurance. The impact of that financial pressure when buying a high-value product can be lessened through the use of promotional financing spanning six, 12, or 18 months or even longer. Retailers benefit by receiving payment in just two days.
“For 30 years, CareCredit has been focused on helping patients get the care they want and need by providing financing options,” said Greg Pierce, senior vice president and general manager, CareCredit. “Our agreement with Golden gives their providers a way to help people finance the equipment they need — with convenient, monthly payments — so they can gain a sense of independence, mobility, and belonging.”
CareCredit serves more than 10 million cardholders who have the spending power to get the products and services they need at more than 200,000 enrolled healthcare provider and select health-focused retailers across the country.

Golden Technologies Serves Thanksgiving Lunch to over 400 Employees
Old Forge, PA – November 18, 2016
Golden Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer Richard Golden and his wife Christine Golden are honored to provide Thanksgiving dinner to over 400 Golden employees within four buildings on Friday, November 18 during the company’s lunchtime.
This is a time honored tradition that began over fifteen years ago at Golden. Rich stated, “We celebrate Thanksgiving with the entire company as a token of appreciation for all that our employees do for Golden throughout the year.” What better way to show gratitude than to personally invite every employee to a Thanksgiving dinner – and this is no small meal. On Friday, over 200 pounds of potatoes, 400 pounds of turkey, 110 pounds of vegetables, 200 pounds of stuffing, 40 pounds of coleslaw, seven gallons of gravy, and 15 loaves of bread will be served to the Golden employees. “No other company does anything close to this to celebrate Thanksgiving,” said Amie Rosiak, Literature Coordinate at Golden Technologies. “I’ve been at Golden for over 16 years, and you’d have to see it to believe it. This Thanksgiving dinner is a testimony to the gratitude that Rich feels toward Golden employees.”
Lynn Jumper, Customer Service Lead at Golden Technologies echoed Amie’s sentiments. “When I re-entered the workforce five years ago, I never thought that I would be working for such an employer that regards his employees as family! The Golden Family never cease to amaze me. Every year at this time, Golden makes sure that each and every member of the Golden Team is treated to a Thanksgiving Dinner at each four Golden locations the week before Thanksgiving. To be honest, it is very hard to put into words how I feel about working for a company like Golden… What an honor.”
