Golden Technologies is proud to announce that they have been named as a Bronze winner in the 37th Annual Telly Awards for their video piece titled “DayDreamer Yoga.” With over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor.
Golden created this 30-second commercial to support the launch of their new power lift recliner, the DayDreamer, which features an articulating headrest and their patented positioning technology. The overall theme demonstrated the level of relaxation their positioning provides and compared the feeling to that of a relaxing yoga class.
A prestigious judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals judged the competition, upholding the historical standard of excellence that Telly represents. This group, known as the Silver Council, evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work and are judged against a high standard of merit. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. Approximately 25% of entries are chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly Award.

Golden Technologies proudly proclaims they are making huge strides toward changing the DME Industry. This change has now been solidified, as effective February 1, 2016, Golden officially partnered with the industry’s largest Member Services Organization and advocates of this change, the VGM Group.

Golden Technologies is excited to announce the tremendous success of their October 2015 sales promotion for the Buzzaround XLS Scooter, which is Golden’s first compact portable scooter that features comfort spring suspension for a smoother ride.
Golden introduced the Buzzaround XLS pre-launch sales program on October 1, 2015, and retailers immediately began showing interest because this scooter was an extension of the already popular Buzzaround XL scooter series. “Golden has seen amazing success with the XLS unit because it is the newest member of the retail family of the Buzzaround scooters,” said Jason Davis, Vice President of Sales at Golden Technologies. “Retailers understand the need for a true retail scooter, and we’ve given them exactly what they want.”
Those retailers who participated in the Buzzaround XLS pre-launch plan were rewarded with Golden’s free marketing materials, which included: a pop up banner featuring brand new lifestyle graphics, a specially designed Buzzaround XLS golf shirt, a pack of 25 recently updated Golden Scooter catalogs, and an added consumer bonus – $250 in discount dining dollars to be used as an additional sales tool for the retailer.

Golden Technologies has expanded its Marketing Department with the hiring of Timothy Robinson as its new Director of Digital Media.
Robinson comes to Golden with more than 15 years of video production experience. He’s previously worked as the Communications Specialist for the Metro Nashville Public School System in Nashville, TN; as the Marketing Manager in the Office of College Advancement at Johnson College, Scranton, PA; and as the Media Coordinator at a company within the DME industry.
His responsibilities include video development and distribution in order to help Golden enhance its marketing efforts. “Video has become such an important part of communicating our message that we felt the need to bring in a full-time director executing on this task. Tim is highly skilled in writing, producing, filming, editing, and distributing videos,” said C.J. Copley, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Video projects will include product sales and training videos, dealer TV commercials and technical repair videos.
Robinson is a graduate of the University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT. He and his family reside in Falls, PA.
Richard Golden, CEO of Golden Technologies. has been named the Pennsylvania Governor’s Entrepreneur ImPAct Award recipient at today’s Governor’s ImPAct Awards ceremony at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA.
The annual Governor’s ImPAct Awards recognizes companies from throughout the state in five categories: Community Impact, Entrepreneurial Impact, Export Impact, Jobs That Pay, and Small Business Impact.
The award Mr. Golden received is presented to an entrepreneur who has led his or her company to a position of strength in the marketplace by way of growth in one or all of the following areas: creativity, innovation, managerial ability, leadership skills, and turnaround.
Golden was nominated for the award by the Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance (PREP) network. Each of the 10 PREP regions submitted up to five nominations per category.
PREP is a statewide network of partners that works to regionalize and coordinate local economic development services to businesses and entrepreneurs.
Representatives from the Team Pennsylvania Foundation and Journal Multimedia evaluated the nominations and selected him as the award’s recipient for 2015.
